Am I able to participate in/attend your events if I am not a black woman ?
Whilst we are very clear on our mission to promote the voices and stories of black women, we also believe in collaborating and working with people outside of our community. Our core organisational values lie within the area of membership where every woman we see feels welcome, included and supported. Our inclusion policy and code of conduct have more information on this.
What are the benefits of attending these events?

Do you have to pay to attend these events?
Yes, as a grassroots non-profit community organisation, at the moment we rely on public funding to be able to run our events and services , and hope to continue delivering more events in the future, therefore the price you pay for these events helps us to allocate these funds to certain activities at each event as well as future events. Our ticket fee price is reasonable and the refreshments, resources and freebies are all included in this ticket price - well worth it!
Where possible, we also try and allocate free tickets to delegates who are less fortunate and are unable to pay to attend. These types of tickets are limited and are allocated on a case by case basis. Please contact us directly for more information about this.
Do your events and activities only take place in London?
At the moment, as we are launching this as a pilot project, and so our funding is restricted to London, this doesn't mean you cannot attend if you don't reside in the London area, you just need to be aware of the additional cost to travel to London. We do hope to continue our work on a greater scale within the UK. Subscribe to our mailing lists for regular updates about our developments and future events.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, both mobile and printed tickets are acceptable..
What is your refund policy?
Our refund policy is strictly no refunds, however under certain circumstances if 48 hours notice is given we will aim to refund 50% of the total paid towards the ticket at the event organiser's discretion.
